The good, the bad, and the unexpected
Nestled in a historic former monastery, this place has stunning rooftop views and a cheery breakfast crew serving good morning treats. The warmth of the staff and the unique atmosphere make up for some room quirks. Still, the absence of air conditioning in the hall and limited amenities could leave guests wanting more during their stay.

Rooftop terrace with stunning views, historical character of the building, quiet monastery environment
WiFi issues in guest rooms, air conditioning that was either insufficient or not functional!!! Small room sizes made movement and storage a hassle, and the elevator was frequently out of order!!!

This was just an optimal selection for a weekend break in Rome with attractive and competitive value for money. The hotel staff always called taxis for us, which was a great help. Try eating at Bar Pizza for affordable local food!

The location is fantastic, a unique stay in a historic setting. The kids loved the rooftop terrace for cozy family dinners under the stars. Breakfast was delightful, with a variety of pastries and fruits served by cheerful staff.
My kids wished for mini fridges in the rooms for snacks.

Not your typical hotel, this place offers a unique charm, being housed in a former monastery. The room was a good size with a decent bathroom, and I enjoyed the fresh pastries and bread at breakfast. However, accessing Wi-Fi only in the lobby was inconvenient, and it took a 10-minute walk to the metro. Overall, it wasn't bad for the price and provided a quiet stay.

I stayed in a Double or Twin Room for one night. The room was pretty basic but got the job done since we were only there for a short stay. It was clean and a decent size. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with all that night noise outside. However, the wifi situation was annoying since we had to go to the lounge area to connect. Not ideal. Otherwise, nothing too bad about it!

The airy hallways and high ceilings made me feel as if I was wandering through a historical museum rather than a hotel. The rustic decor blended seamlessly with modern comforts, making it a delightful stay for my wandering spirit.

Unique historical building experience.
My stay was quite disappointing due to the poor room conditions. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep. I also found the cleanliness lacking. the walls showed signs of dirt and wear, not what I'd expect for this price.

I loved how everything was so accessible, with the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore only a short 20-minute walk away and just 500 meters to the local tram station, making it really easy to explore the sights of Rome at my own pace.

The hotel is an amazing historical gem with a beautiful basilica, and the rooftop terrace offers stunning views. Rooms are comfy but basic, and breakfast could use some improvement—having only cold options with no self-service was a letdown. Overall, it was a unique experience, just be prepared for limited amenities.
